The Dog Whisperer
Cesar Milan visits people with problem pets. His skill with animals allows him to help these owners get back to sanity. Often, the cause of the problem is not the animal itself, but how the owner behaves with the animal. Cesar first observes the owner with the dog. Next, he steps in to offer advice and correction to techniques which add to the difficulties. Once he implements changes, he again observes the owner and dog. Cesar teaches the owners to use the dog’s pack mentality to institute correct behavior. He informs owners that dogs must see them as the pack leader in order to behave the way the owner desires. Cesar is also a pit bull activist and his massive pit Daddy is often featured on the show.
